PowerControl System by Powersoft
The PowerControl System by Powersoft is the ideal low-cost networking to provide a powerful and reliable way to perform monitoring and control functions in an on-line, The system is composed by the PowerControl Manager software, the PowerControl HUB unit and the PowerControl board installed inside the amplifier.
 The PowerControl System by Powersoft is the ideal low-cost networking to provide a powerful and reliable way to perform monitoring and control functions in on-line, real-time mode for data port equipped amplifiers.
The system is controlled by a standard PC driving up to 99 units with a provided custom software interface. The PC can be connected to the PowerControlHub with a low-cost, easily installeable twisted pair cable for RS485 connection (throught the PowerControlHub or directly to an amplifier).
Each amplifier needs its own PowerControlModule interface card mounted inside the unit itself and the RJ-45 rear panel connector for RS485 network.
The network is designed to work over distance up to 500 m. . Each PowerControlModule saves critical events on an internal memory with date and time and the total working hours.
PowerControlManager (PCM) software application can monitor input signals, output voltages, internal temperatures, CLIP and FAULT indications. Control of levels and mutes is provided.
Presets make easy to globally change amplifiers group output levels and mutes almost istantaneously.
To monitor the plant function from remote, PCM can be programmed to sent automatically (at fault occurrences or periodically) SMS messages via GSM network or via e-mail to inform the support center about the problem in real time.
Moreover PCM enable to have an easy guide to test amplifiers locally or remotely connected providing an automatic diagnosis through a built in Tester analyser. The unit olso allows the download of all working history stored on PCM modules memory.
