Aviom Joins Crestron's Certified Integrated Partner Program

In an important step toward introducing itself further into the AV market, Aviom has announced that the company has joined Crestron's Certified Integrated Partner Program.

Looking to bring its full line of professional audio products and A-Net® audio networking transport solutions into the consciousness of AV contractors and consultants, this partnership allows Aviom's A-16R Personal Mixer to be integrated seamlessly into a Crestron control environment.

"Our integration partnership with Crestron gives Aviom a great launching point as we introduce our audio networking solutions at InfoComm this year," says Chandler Collison, Business Development Manager for Aviom. "We recognize the importance of establishing integration and connectivity with the industry’s key manufacturers, especially with popular control systems like Crestron. This is just the start of our partnership with Crestron and, in time, the entire AV industry."

The A-16R retains all the features of the A-16II Personal Mixer, and adds many new connectivity options. There are balanced outputs on the rear panel (with both XLR and 1/4" jacks), stereo balanced insert points, and an auxiliary stereo mix input with a front-panel level control. The A-16R can also store and recall user mix Presets via MIDI. There are MIDI In, Out, and Thru jacks on the rear panel of the 1U-high unit. The A-16R can also accept the A-16CS Control Surface as an option for providing remote control of the mix.

"Aviom is a company that is doing some very interesting things with its products and A-Net protocol," commented Chris Wildfoerster, Crestron's Director of Business Development. "We always look to add companies to our program that are creating innovative and useful solutions for our dealers and Aviom accomplishes that with its unique audio solutions."

Aviom is the world's leading creator of A-Net compatible Distributed Audio Network products, which provide innovative solutions to problems found in audio systems in a variety of environments.
