Aviom Pro64 Products

Aviom’s Pro64 line of audio networking products delivers unprecedented performance, flexibility, and ease of use. Powered by Aviom’s groundbreaking A-Net™ Pro64 audio networking protocol, the Pro64 network is the only distributed audio system to deliver archival quality audio with ultralow latency, jitter, and wander, while simultaneously supporting continuously variable sample rates and all connection topologies.

Every Pro64 system is a true network, designed specifically to deliver optimal performance in distributing multiple channels of audio to as many locations as desired. As a true network, a Pro64 system can distribute audio without being restricted by the physical locations of inputs and outputs or the direction of the signal flow. In Auto Mode, up to 64 channels (24 bits, 48kHz) are distributed throughout the entire network. Channels can be input anywhere in the system and output everywhere, regardless of network topology and layout.

Pro64 Key Features

* Up to 64 channels everywhere, regardless of topology and direction, in Auto Mode
* Up to 64x64 channels in Manual Mode
* Up to 128 channels everywhere or 128x128 on a single cable, with parallel systems
* Ultra-low latency, jitter, and wander
* Integrated distribution of up to 14 VDC streams for MIDI, GPIO, and RS-232 data
* 24-bit audio at all times
* 500’/150m cable runs on Cat-5e
* Fiber compatible
* Optional PC-based Managed Mode

A-Net Pro64 also supports a more traditional bidirectional mode of operation with two 64-channel audio streams, one in each direction. Both streams are available in every module, at all times. Thus, inputs can be transmitted in either or both directions, and outputs can be drawn from either stream. Because new channels can be added to a selected stream at any time, there is no practical limit to the total number of channels in a Pro64 system.

Additionally, the A-Net Pro64 protocol reserves system bandwidth for integrated transmission of multiple streams of non-audio data such as MIDI, GPIO, and RS-232. A-Net Pro64’s Virtual Data Cables™ (VDCs™) allow network-wide distribution of these non-audio data streams in parallel with the audio, with no loss of performance in any way. With the VDCs, users can integrate relevant control data, significantly expanding the power of the one-cable solution.
