MAGIC TH2 POTS - Digital POTS Telephone Hybrid
MAGIC TH2 POTS contains in contrast to MAGIC TH2 (ISDN & a/b) two analogue POTS line interfaces and can be used on analogue telephone lines as digital dual hybrid.
The two available Audio in- and outputs can be configured as analogue or as digital Audio interfaces. The system can be controlled and configured via the front keypad and the graphical display as well as via an optional Windows PC Software. Alternatively, GPIO contacts can also be used for system operation. Furthermore, two POTS telephones can be connected to the system which can be used for dialling and PREATLK.

MAGIC TH2 ISDN & POTS
The MAGIC TH2 supports two functions within one system: as a line interface, the system supports either an ISDN or a POTS telephone interface. Therefore, the system can be used as a Double Hybrid with the ISDN (1 x S0) mode or as a Single Hybrid with an analogue operating mode.
The two available Audio inputs and outputs can be configured as analogue and digital Audio interfaces. The operation and configuration of the system is made via the front display and the graphical keypad. |

MAGIC ISDN - Standard/Triple Digital Telephone Hybrid
The MAGIC ISDN Triple Telephone Hybrid can switch up 4 callers simultaneously On Air. Switchable Automatic Gain Control (AGC), digital Echo Cancellation and an Expander for noise reduction guarantee high intelligibility of the callers. The audio signals of 4 callers can be digitally mixed and the mixed signal is available at the On Air audio output of the hybrid. For each caller the system generates the MIX-1 back signal. This functionality guarantees an excellent audio quality and minimises the need for a mixing unit with various external interfaces. |

MAGIC DC7 - DUAL 7-kHz Audio Code
The MAGIC DC7 DUAL 7 kHz Audio Codec contains an analogue POTS telephone interface and an ISDN S0 interface.
In the ISDN operating mode, two Audio Codecs with G.711 and G.722 coding algorithms are available. The coding delay of the 7-kHz G.722 Audio Codecs is less than 10 ms. Both Audio Codecs can be configured as 3.1-kHz (G.711) or as 7-kHz (G.722) Audio Codecs. Each Audio Codec uses one ISDN B channel (64-kbit/s). Therefore, two Audio signals can be transmitted over a single S0 interface.
In the analogue POTS operating mode, only one Audio Codec with a bandwidth of 3.1-kHz can be used.

MAGIC AC1 - ISDN Audio Codec
Due to its compact dimensions the MAGIC AC1 ISDN Audio Codec is particularly suitable for use as a portable transmission system.
The system supports the coding algorithms for normal telephony G.711 (3.1-kHz), G.722 (7-kHz) and also ISO/ MPEG 2 Layer II & III (15-kHz).
For the transmission of the high quality signals, the ISDN interface is used. If there is no ISDN available, at least a normal telephone connection can be established over the analogue POTS telephone interface.
Remarkable features of the MAGIC AC1 are its compact design (½ x 19’’, 1 U), the intuitive user interface and low power consumption - no cooling fan is necessary. The signal processor based MAGIC AC1 Audio Codec with flash memory technology assures that the system can be loaded with future coding algorithms which may be required in the broadcast area by software download. |
MAGIC AC1 XIP
MAGIC AC1 XIP incorporates an ISDN, an X.21 and a LAN interface. The ISDN and the X.21 interfaces can be used for the transmission of Audio signals. The LAN interface can be used for control and is prepared for Audio over IP.
MAGIC AC1 XIP RM
The MAGIC AC1 XIP RM provides the same functionalities as MAGIC AC1 XIP. However, it is realised as a 19" unit with integrated power supply and appliance type mains cable.
The system supports the coding algorithms for normal telephony G.711 (3.1-kHz), G.722 (7-kHz) and also ISO/ MPEG 2 Layer II & III (15-kHz).
